Pan-seared Lingcod
What you need

50 grams | Butter |
2 gloves | Garlic |
Parsley to taste | |
Chili flakes to taste | |
Lemon juice to taste | |
Salt and pepper to taste | |
Olive oil |
PREPARATION
Step 1: Preparing the sauce
Let’s begin by preparing the sauce. Take a big fying pan and melt the butter until it turns golden brown. Add the garlic and fry them in the butter for about 1-2 minutes. then take the pan off the heat.
Transfer the butter mixture to a small bowl and combine it with lemon juice, parsley, and chili flakes for an extra kick.
Step 2: Cooking the fish
Now, onto preparing the lingcod. Gently pat dry each fillet with a paper towel, then coat them evenly in cornstarch, followed by a generous seasoning of salt and pepper on both sides.
Return the frying pan to the stove, add olive oil, and heat it up to cook the fish. The fillets cook quickly, only requiring 2-3 minutes on each side. Once cooked, turn off the heat and drizzle the butter lemon sauce over the fish. Serve hot and enjoy!
